What is Science?

What is Science?A body of facts, organised systematically, and given the same set of conditions can be repeated or the same results can be obtained.
On what grounds are these scientific truths arrived at?
Law of Uniformity of Nature and Theory of cause and effect.
Law of Uniformity is accepted on the ground that laws governing Universe behave uniformly. The best you can say is that it is behaving so till this second. What guarantee is there it will be so, the next second? When you go to Quantum Physics, your Uniformity theory does not operate there.
Law of Causality.Cause and effect are two events that are cataloged by our brain to relate. Also one cause may cause(?) more than one effect and one effect may be result of multitude of causes.(Among causes are there are material cause, inherent cause, concomitant cause and immediate cause).Even if we link cause to effect , we again depend on Law of Uniformity of nature, which is at best working for the present and it can not be takes as the ultimate truth. So are scientific facts.Note I am saying facts not truths.Truth is different from facts. As Kant has observed we perceive through the spectacles of Space and Time.So long as we have these blinkers on. it is not possible to know things as they are as is now being proved by Quantum theory.
Long and short of it is creationism as well as scientific knowledge goes, while creationism , we beieve, has less of facts than science. The difference is of degree not kind.
