ICSE,CBSE Schools -Only for the Elite?

ICSE and CBSE schools in India are planning to move the Supreme Court against Right to Education Bill, which makes it mandatory for educational institutions to provide 25 % seats for economically weak children.
The reasons advanced are;
‘It would deprive the fundamental Right of the private unaided schools and minority schools to choose the students they want and it is ultra vires of the Constitution and be violative of of the basic structure of the Constitution.It would also violate the fundamental Right of of equal treatment of child and equal right to have admission in any school of his choice if he meets the criteria laid down by the school”
Right to Education is enshrined in the Constitution , and not educational institution's Right. Child’s Right to education is more precious than the greed of a group of people trying to make money in the garb of running educational institutions.Note the word as per the criteria laid down by the schools.Who are you to fix it?Education is for all and not for an elite few.Similar situation is obtaining in UK and public anger is brewing over there.This is precisely because of this elitist attitude that the present Right to Education Bill is introduced.
Another funny reason adduced by the schools is that there will be delays by the government officials in getting the processed.Do they mean nothing is delayed now?Ask for a spurious reason,nothing sillier than this.
